Help Support Kimberly Mormando
Some children are limited by social conditions which result in the low self-esteem and the predetermined limitations of other people's opinions.
I am a SYTA Marathon team member because I want to help change some children's destiny. My marathon goal is $3,500. The SYTA team's goal is to continue to contribute to enriching the lives of children that do not have the financial resources to attend their class trips and to offer academic scholarships to them. The SYTA Marathon Fundraiser will help open the world to these children by showing them someone believes in them.
The SYTA Marathon Team represents the dreams of adults to give forward (runners do not go backwards) to the future of our children while pursing our own goals through teamwork (fundraising and encouragement), exercising (building confidence in ourselves), and humanity. The SYTA Marathon Team is a great role model to show the children that dreams and goals are available at any age.
I was so blessed to have the family resources to attend school trips and vacations. I am now a parent of Jonathan (10 years old). I see the world through his eyes. His enthusiasm for new experiences and places are priceless. My social responsibility is to teach Jonathan about humanity and show him how one person can make a difference.
Please consider being a part of my journey though a tax deductible donation.
Dollar by dollar, mile by mile, we can make a difference in a child's life.
See you at the finish.
