Student travel has been an integral part of my life. It helped to shape the person that I am today. As a kid, I had the opportunity to travel extensively across the U.S. and Canada; thanks to my parents, drum corps, and the marvels of motor coach travel. The lessons that I learned along the way are many; some of which I can probably say I?m still realizing today. As an industry, we talk about how travel is an integral part of education. I feel I?m a testament to that theory. Because of the experiences that I had as a student, it led me to the student travel industry. It opened my eyes and my mind to new places, new people, and new experiences. If I can help a student to see, learn, feel, or try something new along their journey?sign me up! Our world is a magnificent place with countless opportunities. Help me help that student, or those students, that may not have the means to join their classmates. Lets take them beyond the four walls of their classroom to the nearly limitless opportunities of their imagination. Who knows, we just might be enlightening a future artist, musician, scientist, doctor, president?
