Silver Lining Program Featured in Grand Rapids Family Magazine Thursday, July 23, 2009 On July 9-12, 47 students from Newaygo High School in Michigan traveled to Los Angeles as winners of the 2009 SYF Silver Lining Award. The students, who submitted a video about why they deserved a trip, were treated to a fun-filled four days compliments of SYF, LA INC and Team LA. Before they left, several students spoke to an editor at Grand Rapids Family magazine about their upcoming experience, what made them enter and what they were expecting. The article ran in the July issue of the magazine, which reaches 23,000 consumers. |
