National Youth Day Out Overview The SYTA Youth Foundation (SYF), in partnership with National Middle School Association (NMSA) and the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA), invites teachers to apply for a “National Youth Day Out” field trip for your deserving middle school class. National Youth Day Out is a program which provides a one-day travel experience to deserving middle school students in their local area. All trips will happen in the month of October 2010 in conjunction with the “Month of the Young Adolescent.” Last year, 12 “Days Out” were awarded to classes from California to New York. This year, in celebration of SYTA Youth Foundation’s 10th Anniversary, 25 middle school classes will be offered this one-day unforgettable travel experience. In order to be considered for a "National Youth Day Out" field trip, you must complete an application by following this link to the NYDO Application. Judging All applications will be reviewed and judged by SYTA’s Education Advisory Board (EAB). Representatives from the following organizations comprise the EAB:
